GENERAL CANCELLATION CONDITIONS FOR PRIVATE TRAVELERS
Once the room reservation has been confirmed, we will keep a room in the desired category ready as agreed. Changes or cancellations result in losses that we cannot bear alone.
Cancellations of room reservations are only valid if they are received by us in writing. Cancellations are free of charge up to four weeks before arrival. At Christmas and New Year's Eve, this period is extended to 12 weeks before arrival. If you do not book through our reservation system, a deposit of 50% of the total price is required for bookings over Christmas and New Year's Eve. If you cancel later, we will charge 80% of the accommodation price for the entire stay. If you do not arrive without submitting a written cancellation or if you cancel your trip, you will be charged 100% of the confirmed accommodation price.
As a courtesy, these costs will be charged back to you if you make the same booking within 365 days of the day of cancellation. Please note that this service is a purely voluntary service on our part.
To avoid any costs, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS FOR COMPANIES/GROUPS/BUS TRIPS (25 PEOPLE OR MORE)
Once the room reservation has been confirmed, we will hold rooms for your group as agreed. Changes or cancellations of this magnitude result in losses that we cannot bear alone.
Cancellations of group reservations are only valid if we receive them in writing. Cancellations are free of charge up to 12 weeks before arrival. During Christmas and New Year's Eve, this period is extended to 20 weeks (5 months) before arrival.
Overview of the grading
84 - 56 days before arrival 30% of the existing contingent can be cancelled free of charge
56 - 28 days before arrival 10% of the existing contingent can be cancelled free of charge
In case of later cancellation we will charge 40 € cancellation fee per person per night.
In case of no-show or trip cancellation, 100% will be charged.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR MEETINGS WITH OVERNIGHT STAY
Once the conference request has been confirmed, we will keep rooms and seminar rooms available for your group as agreed. Changes or cancellations of this magnitude result in losses that we cannot bear alone.
Cancellations of conferences are only valid if we receive them in writing. Cancellations are free of charge up to 7 weeks before arrival.
Overview of the grading
49 - 21 days before arrival 20% of the existing contingent can be cancelled free of charge
21 - 7 days before arrival 15% of the existing contingent can be cancelled free of charge
7 days - 1 day before arrival 5% of the existing contingent can be cancelled free of charge
In case of cancellation on the day of arrival, we will charge 100% of the confirmed accommodation price for the entire stay.
Day seminars can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before the start of the event.
Cancellations by the hotel (Gasthof Maria Kirchental) are possible and permitted due to the following circumstances: Technical defects, force majeure, natural events, weather-related cancellations, health reasons, personnel reasons. In the event of cancellations by the hotel, advance payments will be refunded. The guest has no right to claim damages.
